The information listed below is designed to make you comfortable in our cabin or chalet. We hope you enjoy your vacation here in the Great Smoky Mountains.

CHECK IN: AFTER 4:00 PM | CHECK OUT: BEFORE 10:00 AM

Central Air/Heat: The fan switch should be set on AUTO. The other switch should be set on Heat or Air. Set the temperature to a comfortable setting. If you bury tempeture control down low for AC and or switch fan from auto to on you will freeze up the AC unit.  Always make sure furniture/throws do not block cold air return grates (this also causes AC unit to freeze up). You will not have any cool air and a repair man will have to be sent out at a cost of $79.00 and up. On final departure, we ask that you set the air to 78° or the heat to 65°. THANKS!

Fireplaces - Gas: DO NOT rearrange the gas logs or burn foreign materials. It will cause carbon monoxide, heavy black soot damage.  The entire interior of cabin will need to be (fire damage cleaned). Guest will be held responsible for cleaning cost. Wood: We provide a starter supply of wood. Always keep spark screens in place at all times.

Linens: Our beds are freshly made and ready to use. We furnish one set of bath towels per person. You may choose to refresh these in your washer/dryer. We supply a starter set of trash bags, bath tissue, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and hand soap. There is no maid service. Guests can request cleaning for longer stays for additional charge. (Things to bring list will be sent to you).

Sofa Sleepers: Make sure you take all sheets off of the sofa sleeper and fold the sleeper back to a sofa again.  Please do not use these sheets if you don't have extra people!

Jacuzzi: Make sure water covers all jets before turning on. (guest responsible for damage due to neglect). Be careful about an overspill. NEVER USE: soaps, lotions, oils, etc. (will result in extra cleaning charge).

Hot Tub: Your hot tub is cleaned, chemically balanced and heated to 100 degrees. Please remove the cover carefully and always replace after each use to insure proper heating and for your safety. NEVER USE: any type of soap, shampoo, bath oils, bubbles, etc. (X-cleaning charge). Please shower to remove suntan oils and lotions before / after entering the hot tub. The Bromine Floater slowly distributes chemicals. Please do not disturb its contents or remove the tablets in this floater. Please do not sit, stand on, or mistreat the hot tub cover. It is breakable and expensive. A $350 (minimum) charge will result for any damage or breakage.

Telephone: There is no charge for local calls. All long distance calls must be charged to your telephone calling card, collect, third party, or major credit cards. 

Televisions: All rentals are equipped with televisions.  If your TV breaks down during your visit please call the office and we will have it repaired ASAP. 

Repairs and Service Calls: Call office to report any problems you may encounter. Will be taken care of ASAP.  No Refunds for appliance, electronics, hot tub, electric outages - (keep in mind most cabins have wells which run off of pumps...pumps need electric, it is wise to have a couple gallons of water on hand).

Locked Closets: This is the homeowner’s for their personal use. PLEASE RESPECT!

Pets: Some cabins are pet friendly. (Limit: one small to medium-sized dog.)  Pets are never allowed on furniture or on beds!  Pets must be crated in cabin when left alone.

Important Departure Information: Please wash all dirty dishes in the dishwasher or in the sink and dry them and put them away - free of fingerprints etc. - in their "proper place".  Make sure all pots, pans, and lids are cleaned right, dryed and put in proper place "free of fingerprints and food" (SOS pads are under sink).  Clean sinks, counters, stove tops, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer of all grease/splatters. No need to sanitize. Gather all trash and place in trash containers outside. Leave all used and dirty towels in a pile. Do not strip the beds. Gather all trash including used soaps.  Take all shampoos and other personal items out of bathrooms.  Make sure NO trash is left in any rooms.  Make sure all furniture is back in its proper place. If these duties are not followed, you will be charged extra cleaning fees. Drop your key off at the office or if you have key code, you must call the office when you are departing.

Refunds: There will be NO refunds due to weather, early departure, late arrival, appliance/electronics problems, hot tub problems, electric (power) outages, or any thing that may happen during your stay...however, we will fix the problem ASAP.

Extra Charges: If damages and loss of property occur due to guest neglect or excessive cleaning is needed after your departure, a charge will be made to your credit card and/or court action will be taken.
